After her spectacular wedding dress caught the eyes of more than a billion people around the world, Prince William's wife Kate Middleton wore a second dress of the same designer to the reception.

After their vows, Kate and Wills were whisked to a party hosted by Queen Elizabeth at the Buckingham Palace for the cutting of the cake. Friday's evening reception for 300 close family and friends was hosted by Prince Charles.

The bride wore a white evening gown by Sarah Burton of British fashion brand Alexander McQueen, the same fashion designer, who created her wedding dress. A St James's Palace spokesman, cited by BBC, said the new duchess had donned a white angora bolero cardigan over her white satin gazar dress, which featured a circle skirt and diamante embroidered detail round the waist.

The bride's sister Pippa, who, by some accounts had been the more beautiful sibling during the wedding ceremony, had changed for the evening reception into a long emerald green sleeveless dress with a jeweled embellishment on the front and a plunging neckline.

Kate's husband, Prince William, also made a wardrobe change, trading in his military uniform for a classic black tuxedo. Along with a rumored disco theme, the party included a best man speech from Prince Harry.
