Over 100 Russian and Romanian rockers from the international club "Night Wolves" staged a gathering on the Danube bridge linking Bulgaria and Romania on their way to a Bulgarian rocker gathering.

The colorful rockers were met by the Mayor of the city of Ruse Bozhidar Yotov, who is a rocker and motorcycling fan himself, and the Russian consul in Ruse Vladimir Klimanov, BGNES reported.

The Russian and Romanian rockers are arriving to Bulgaria for the Third International Fair near the Kilifarevski monastery. The head of the Bulgarian Night Wolves club Anatoliy Milchev also arrived at the Danube bridge to meet them.

The Russian rockers rode their motorbikes for three days to reach Bulgaria – from Moscow via Odessa, Ukraine, and Bucharest, Romania.

The rocker gathering near the Kilifarevski monastery is dedicated to the 1330 year since the founding of the Bulgarian state in the Balkans, and expects more than 2000 rockers from 10 countries, who will also visit Veliko Tarnovo, Pleven, and the historic Shipka Pass.
