Royal Wedding Fans Gather in Front of Westminster Abbey

Royal fans have started gathering to camp out out in front of UK's Westminster Abbey in anticipation of Prince William and Kate Middleton on Friday.

John Laughrey, 56, one of the British royal family's most dedicated fans become the first to take up a position on the prime spot armed with a sleeping bag. He was dressed in a Kate and William T-shirt stating "Diana would be proud".

"I have always been loyal to the Royal Family," he said, as cited by the BBC

Loughrey was joined later on Tuesday by Guen Murray, 76, from Attleborough, Norfolk.

Prince William, heir to the British crown, will wed Kate Middleton in the ceremony with nearly 2,000 guests.About 200,000 people are expected to flock to Hyde Park and about 20,000 will gather in Trafalgar Square, where screens will show highlight.

More than 2 billion people worldwide are expected to watch the royal wedding, and 600,000 tourists are flocking to London this week to catch a glimpse of the spectacle. The Royal wedding invitation list released Saturday morning confirmed famous names like musician Elton John and director Guy Ritchie, soccer star David Beckham and wife Victoria, Mr. Bean actor Rowan Atkinson, as well as many other celebrities.

Bulgaria's former Tsar, Simeon Saxe-Cobrurg, together with his wife, Queen Margarita of the Bulgarians, will also be present at the glamorous event.
