Nina Dobrev to Star in Scandalous Movie

Bulgarian-born Hollywood actress Nina Dobrev is to star in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower", a movie expected to contain explicit revelations about sex, drugs and suicides among teenagers.

The movie is based on a 1999 novel written by Stephen Chbosky, who will also direct it. After the book was published, it stirred a wave of disapproval among parental organizations in the US.

Tells the story of an introvert freshman named Charlie who learns everything from drug use to suicide after being taken on the wings by step siblings Sam and Patrick. Filming is scheduled to begin in May 2011 in Pittsburgh.

The movie is being put out by Summit Entertainment, which enjoyed monster success adapting the Twilight Saga series for the screen. The project stars Emma Watson and Logan Lerman.
