Bulgarian Wholesale Prices Stabilize before Easter

The trend of the index of wholesale prices in Bulgaria to constantly go up since the beginning of 2011 has been reversed during the past week.

The index went down from 1.994 to 1.992 points, according to data from the State Commission for Commodity Exchanges and Market Places.

Prices of potatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, apples, lettuce, cooking oil were slightly lower during the week.

Prices of oranges, lemons, tomatoes, feta cheese, yellow cheese (kashkaval), flour, and sugar went up, while price sof meat and meat products remained the same.
