Bulgaria's Top Cop Vows Friendly Cooperation with US

Bulgaria and the US have and will have a very close and effective cooperation in crime fightinng Tsvetan Tsvetanov, Bulgaria's Interior Minister, declared.

Tsvetanov met with Assistant Secretary of State William R. Brownfield in Mexico, where the annual International Conference for Drug Control is held in Cancun. He thanked Brownfield for the opportunity Bulgarian enforcement officers received for training in the US Department of State.

Bulgaria has achieved very high results in Department of State's International Narcotics Control Strategy Report, it was pointed out during the conversation between the two officials.
