Bulgarian Tennis Star Off to Flying Start at Houston Tournament

Grigor Dimitrov, Bulgaria's top male tennis player and hot young prospect, advanced in the second round at the Houston ATP tournament after smashing German Reiner Schuettler 6:0, 6:2.

The young Bulgarian needed just 63 minutes to win against his experienced opponent and former world No 5, whom he played for the first time in his career. Thus, Dimitrov secured his first victory at an ATP tournament since advancing to the second round at the Australian Open.

Grigor Dimtrov, 19, who has reached the record high for a Bulgarian male 70th spot in the ATP ranking, will face either Teymuraz Gabashvili of Georgia or Paul Capdeville of Chile in the next round.
