Supporters of Kasim Dal, who recently resigned as Deputy Chair, and was later expelled from the ethnic Turkish Movement for Rights and Freedoms, are debating plans to establish a new NGO.

The NGO will be named Movement for Rights of Free Speech, and in Bulgarian it will have the exact same abbreviation as the Movement for Rights and Freedoms – DPS.

The administrators of the Facebook group "I Support Kasim Dal," explain the idea is for the new organization to have offices across the country to organize local debates and referendums, but point out the NGO is not a step forward in the founding of a new party to be led by Dal.

The Facebook group was created after Dal's expulsion from DPS in the aftermath of his strong criticism towards party leader, Ahmed Dogan.

Dal has reiterated on numerous occasions he does not have plans to lead a new party, but wants to oust Dogan with the help of his supporters.
