Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov Drops Out of Miami Masters

Bulgaria's top male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov has dropped out of the prestigious USD 4.5 M ATP Masters in Miami, Florida after losing in the first round of the main draw.

The 19-year-old Bulgarian was defeated 2-6, 4-6 by the Ukrainian Sergiy Stakhovsky, who currently ranks No.36 in the world.

However, for his victories in the qualifications and his entering the main draw, Dimitrov has earned USD 7115 of the prize money and gained 26 ATP ranking points.

He canceled his participation a the ATP Challenger in Barranquilla, Colombia, next week. He will next play at the ATP tennis tournaments in Houston, Texas on April 4, in Barcelona, Spain on April 18 and in Munich, Germany on April 25.

At the beginning of this week, Dimitrov moved one position in the ATP ranking and occupied his best ever No.70.
