Saudi Arabia Business Keen on Direct Bulgaria Flights

The Saudi Arabian business wants direct flights to Bulgaria to be launched, Dr. Fahad Al-Sultan , Secretary General for the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry, said Monday.

Al-Sultan met with Bugaria's Economy and Energy Minister Traicho Traikov during the International Energy Forum (IEF) gathering in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. Besides the official Bulgarian delegation headed by Traikov, representatives from the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry were present at the event.

The Chamber signed a cooperation agreement with the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry on Monday.

On Sunday, Minister Traicho Traikov had talks with Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, a member of the Saudi Royal Family, who is an entrepreneur and international investor. A variety of topics were discussed at their meeting, including Bulgaria's potential as an investment and tourist destination.

IEF is the world's largest gathering of Energy Ministers. The countries participating in the forum account for more than 90% of global oil and gas supply and demand.
