The central building of the Bulgarian Council of Ministers as well as the nearby Ministry of Social Affairs will be heated with mineral waters springing in the center of the Bulgarian capital Sofia.

This news was broken by Sofia chief architect Petar Dikov, as part of a large project for making use of Sofia's significant mineral water resources.

In March a bid is scheduled for the use of the facilities of the Sofia Central Public Bath to develop a SPA facility, announced Dikov.

The building of the Central Bath has been repaired and is slated to house both a SPA and a museum of Sofia.

Further use is going to be made of mineral water springs in the Lozenetz and Batalova Vodenitsa neighborhoods south and west of the Sofia city center, both for heating and SPA purposes.
