Concessions of airports, sea and river ports have brought to the Bulgarian State treasury BGN 16.7 M in 2010, according to data from the Transport Ministry.

These revenues are however lower compared to the BGN 17 M in 2009. The Transport Ministry has prepared a plan to expand the concessions, but it had not yet been executed.

The major share of the 2010 revenues, BGN 13 M, belongs again to the Fraport Twin Star Airport Management company, which is the concessionaire of the airports in the Black Sea Cities of Varna and Burgas.

The company is a German-Bulgarian Consortium between the Varna TIM group "Chimimport" (40%) and the German "Fraport."

"Chimimport" is also the concessionaire of the Varna "Lesport" port, the port in the northern Black Sea town of Balchik, and of the Vidin North port on the Danube River with revenues for the State of BGN 2 M, BGN 350 000, and BGN 100 000 respectively.

The "Dragazhen Flot – Istar" company has paid BGN 400 000 in 2010 for the Danube port of Svishtov; the "Slanchev Dar" company has paid for the Danube ports of Somovit and Oryahovo BGN 275 000 and BGN 54 000 respectively.

"Kaolin," concessionaire of the Danube ferryboat in the city of Silistra, has paid to the State BGN 78 000 in 2010.
