Bulgaria's State Construction Supervision Directorate was sentenced to a fine over its order to shut down the Marina Dinevi yacht port.

Marina Dinevi, the Black Sea yacht port of tycoon brothers Yordan Dinev and Dinko Dinev, is located in the Sveti Vlas resort.

The Burgas Appellate Court sentenced the Construction Supervision office in the city of Burgas to pay a fine of BGN 1300 to cover expensive of Marina Dinevi over the suit.

In the fall of 2010, the Burgas Office of the State Construction Supervision Directorate decreed the termination of electricity and water supplies of the two buildings and the pool of the Marina Dinevi yacht port in Sveti Vlas claiming the yacht port did not have a permit from the Nessebar Municipality to enter into operation.

The construction directorate and Marina Dinevi have been in conflict over the precise area of the Marina Dinevi facilities. But as those were proven to be under 5 000 square meters, they are not subject to approval by the State Directorate, and are handled by the municipal authorities.

The state authorities have also lost the suit over the cutting of the power supply for the Marina Dinev yacht port.
