New Bomb Explodes in Athens

A strong bomb has exploded in the early hours of Friday in the Greek capital Athens, causing serious damage but no injuries.

The act is reckoned by the Greek police to be en act of intimidation by a criminal gang

On Thursday morning, another powerful bomb blast shook one of the main courthouse buildings in central Athens. Again, no casualties were reported. Anarchists were blamed for Thursday's blast.

The two accidents are considered unrelated.

Separately, a small bomb broke windows at the Greek embassy in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires on Thursday.
