Bulgarian Kotooshu 4th Richest Sumo Wrestler in 2010

Bulgarian sumo wrestler Kaloyan Mahlyanov-Kotooshu has earned EUR 408 000 with his wins in 2010, Japanese pundits have announced.

This makes Kotooshu, who has the second-highest rank of ozeki, the fourth in the sumo pay ranking.

Grand champion Hakuho, whose 63-bout winning streak is the second longest in sumo history, has earned EUR 1.9 M, topping the ancient sport's pay ranking for the fourth consecutive year.

27-year-old Kotooshu, the most successful European sumo wrestler of all time, known also in Japan as "the Beckham of the sumo world".
