Bulgarian football player, Valeri Bojinov, wishes to stay with Parma, Bozhinov's agent, Jerry Palomba, announces.

In July 2010, Bojinov signed a 5-year contract with the Italian team, but his performance during the fall season has been largely seen as disappointing with the Bulgarian player spending lots of time on the bench and scoring only twice.

"Valeri, for sure, can perform much stronger. We hope for better times for him in 2011," Palomba is quoted saying while declining any comments on rumors Bozhinov might be transferred to another club.

"The only thing I can confirm is that I have not held talks with anybody on the matter. When Valeri signed with Parma for five years he had firm intentions to stay with the team until his contract expires. This desire has not changed," the agent had stated.

According to several reports, in the beginning of December, the UK Newcastle and the French Bordeaux have shown interest in Bojinov. Others say Parma wants to exchange the Bulgarian player for Rafaelle Palladino and Francesco Modesto from Genoa.
