Bulgaria 3rd Most Dangerous Destination for Russians

The Russian Federal Tourist Agency "Rostourism" released Friday data showing Bulgaria ranks third among the destinations that are risky for Russian holidaymakers.

6% of travel insurance compensations have been paid to people who visited Bulgaria.

Turkey ranks first with 27%, Egypt, with 14%, is second, while Bulgaria is followed by Thailand and Spain.

Data further shows that 746 Russian tourists have died abroad between 2006 and 2009 while 189 went missing.
