The Sofia City Hall Sofia Municipality is providing public transportation buses through the night Wednesday into Thursday to contribute to students' festive mood.

The information was reported by the Center for Urban Mobility on the day colleges and universities in Bulgaria celebrate Students' Day.

From midnight on December 8 until 5 a.m. on December 9, buses with numbers 94 and 280 will serve their regular routes in an interval of 60 minutes.

The two bus lines are the main mode of transportation of 80% of students in Sofia, as they connect a network all universities and colleges in the city and also make a direct connection to the College Town (Studentski Grad) district.

The Center for Urban Mobility reminds the rides are not free of charge and regular fares do apply.

Bulgaria's university students traditionally celebrate their holiday on December 8. All university classes and lectures are cancelled on that day.
