"The PR market in Bulgaria impressed us with its amazing professionalism and high competitiveness," Houghton said.

BAPRA Chairman, Maxim Behar, who is also the CEO of the largest Bulgarian PR agency M3 Communications Group, Inc., was elected Treasurer of ICCO at the Sofia's meeting, Houghton announce at a press conference after the meeting.

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov recognized the significance of the ICCO forum in Sofia with a special letter in which he congratulated BAPRA and said that the "fact that the Bulgarian Association of PR Agencies is the host of such a meeting is a recognition for the PR professionals in Bulgaria."

The program of the ICCO Board members in Sofia included a breakfast with former Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Passy, who revealed for them unknown details from the visits to Bulgaria of Pope John Paul II and Dalai Lama, among others.

ICCO is the largest international consultancy uniting 1400 PR agencies from 28 countries around the world focusing on uniform professional, ethics and quality standards for the PR industry.
