Bulgaria's Kozloduy NPP CEO Resigns

The Executive Director of Bulgaria's Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant, Dimitar Angelov, has resigned from his position, the Economy Minister, Traicho Traikov, has announced.
Traikov announced the news at the opening of Unit 6 of Kozloduy NPP, which has been turned off for a scheduled annual repair.
The minister thanked Angelov for his work in the last year and three months. Traikov said he accepted his resignation because, in his words, many important tasks were ahead of Kozloduy NPP.
He has explained that the tasks were connected to the operational management of the plant and to the electricity market and upcoming activities for the continuation of Unit 5 and 6.
The new CEO of the plant will be Kostadin Dimitrov, who was the Financial Director at Kozloduy NPP until now.
Alexander Nikolov, longtime engineer and former Production Director, is suggested to replace Angelov in the Board of Directors.
