Bulgarian cousins of Brazil's President-elect Dilma Vana Rousseff are celebrating her victory Monday whishing her strenght and hoping to see her in Bulgaria soon.

"I am extremely happy and proud by the news that Dilma won the run off. She is a woman, who succeeded because she has courage, integrity and character" her cousin, Ralitsa Negentsova, lawyer and member of Bulgaria's Central Election Commission, said.

In the city of Gabrovo, Rousseff's father's hometown, another cousin wishes Dilma success and hopes the relative will visit Bulgaria and Gabrovo soon.

"She is the proof that those who fight win," Gabrovo's Mayor, Nikolay Sirakov, added.

Bulgaria's President, Georgi Parvanov, sent Monday an official letter of congratulations to Rousseff over her victory and election as Brazil's next President, the Presidential press office informs.
