New Best Ranking for Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov

Bulgaria’s top male tennis player, Grigor Dimitrov, is moving closer to the top 100 by landing on the 112th position in the ATP ranking this week.

Dimitrov did not participate in any tennis tournament last week but managed to move forward in the ATP ranking thanks to other players who lost points and positions.

This week, the 19-year-old Bulgarian star will take part in the EUR 30,000 ATP Challenger in Eckental, Germany, where he is Seed 4.

In the first match on Tuesday, Grigor will face the 25-year-old Ilija Bozoljac from Serbia, who currently ranks 139th.

The two played twice before, in 2009 at the quarterfinal in Nottingham and at the first round in Knoxville, and it was the Bozoljac who won both matches. I

f the Bulgarian defeats his opponent, he will face the winner of the match between Stefan Koubek from Austria and Dieter Kindlmann from Germany.
