Bulgaria's PM Boyko Borisov received the 2010 award of the international Crans Montana Forum held this year in Geneva, Switzerland.

The yearly "Prize of the Foundation" was awarded to the Bulgarian head of government for his efforts and committment to the fight against organized crime and corruption in his country.

Borisov is taking part in a Summit on Transnational Crime organized by Crans Montana in Geneva.

In his address, the Forum's chairman Jean-Paul Carteron praised Borisov for his committment, stating that his cabinet is showing "a new vision and a new spirit for governing".

Bulgaria's ex-President Petar Stoyanov (1997-2002), who is himself holder of the Award and was present at the forum, expressed satisfaction at the awarding of the Bulgarian PM.
