The Sofia City Court has issued guilty verdicts for ten CSKA football fans and ruled to keep four of them in jail.

The decision came on the heels of street violence where eighteen football fans were arrested in the Bulgarian capital during clashes with police after CSKA Sofia suffered a 2-0 defeat at home by Rapid Vienna in the Europa League Thursday.1

The 4 will serve up to 15 days behind bars. All 10 are banned from attending football matches in the next one to two years.

Three of the 18 were released because they are minors and their cases are going to be referred to the Commission for Crimes against Society.

One case has been postponed for Monday because the parents of the detainees have requested an extension in order to find a defense attorney.

5 have been fined and banned from attending sports events in Bulgaria and abroad for one year.
