An earthquake with a magnitude of 5,8 on the Richter scale rattled Chile late Wednesday, the US Geological Survey has announced.
Although building in the capital Santiago have been shaken, no victims or damages have been reported.
The quake's epicenter was registered in the Pacific Ocean, 315 km west-southwest of Santiago, at a depth of 6,7 km.
In February, an 8,8-magnitude earthquake hit Chile, killing over 500 people and causing huge damages.
