Thousands Charmed by Enrique Iglesias in His 1st Bulgarian Gig

Dozens of thousands of fans flocked to see Enrique Iglesias's first ever concert in Bulgaria that took place in Sofia Wednesday night.

The free concert was organized by Bulgaria's largest mobile operator M-Tel for its 15th birthday, which coincides with the start of Enrique Iglesias's career as a singer, also featured British DJ Sonique.

The rainy and windy fall weather did not spoil the grand show, and the organizers from M-Tel had prepared to fend it off by handing out 30 000 raincoats.

The fact that the UK trio Sugababes did not manage to perform as they were originally planned because of a medical problem of Heidi Range also did not affect the concert which was enjoyed by thousands and thousands of Bulgarian girls desperately in love with the Spanish singer.

Enrique Iglesias performed most of his global hits for the Sofia crowd. He even invited a young girl from the audience on stage, who, needless to say, was crying out of excitement, comforting her with a kiss while performing his hit song "Hero."
