Bulgaria's Finance Minister, Simeon Djankov, has stated the country's priorities with regards to the goals of the Europe 2020 strategy. Phopto by BGNES

In 10 years, Bulgaria will be a country, in which people would want to live, study and stay, the Bulgarian Finance Minister Simeon Djankov said Tuesday.

His made his statement at the meeting of the Public Consultative Council to the parliamentary committee on European affairs and control of EU funds.

The topic of the meeting was the Bulgarian position on the Europe 2020 strategy.

Djankov has presented Bulgaria's priorities for the next 10 years, with regards to the goals of the strategy.

"The goals for the next 10 years are Bulgaria to have a better infrastructure, more competitive youths, the best business environment in the EU and trust in state institutions," he said.

The Chair of the Parliament, Tsetska Tsacheva, has explained that Bulgaria's position on the Europe 2020 strategy will be ready in four to six weeks.

She pointed out that the Bulgarian position should not be coming from one party only, but should rather be national.
