Bulgarian Municipal Employee Found Dead with 24 Wounds

A 33-year-old man from the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Varna have been found dead in his bathroom with 24 puncture wounds.

The Prosecutor's Office in Varna has announced that the 33-year-old Petar Chetnikov has been a municipal employee. His body was found around 2:30 am by his wife, who alarmed the police.

A kitchen knife has been found in the bathroom and the 24 wounds has been all over the body.

The spokesperson of the Prosecutor's Office in Varna, Valya Aleksieva, has stated that the final results from the autopsy will be announced by the end of the week.

Petar Chetnikov was head of the directorate “Public order and control” in the district municipality “Vladislav Varnenchik”. He recently got married to his wife, who is fifth month pregnant.
