Families of Killed Bulgarian Policemen Head for Free Beach Vacation

64 families of Bulgarian police officers who died or were injured in the line of duty are offered free beach vacations forthe first time this summer. File photo

The Bulgarian Interior Ministry is organizing for the first time ever the summer vacation of families of police officers who died or were injured in the line of duty.

The 64 families are leaving for the beach Monday and will be accommodated in upscale hotels on the Northern and Southern Black Sea coast.

82 children and 53 adults will spend 10 days all inclusive at the Sunset Beach hotel in the southern resort of Lozenets, and Grand Hotel Varna at the northern Sts. Konstantin and Elena.
