An irregular Romanian bus driver has crushed the fingers of a Bulgarian customs officer at the Kulata border checkpoint on the border with Greece.

During a check of a bus with Romanian registration, traveling from Greece to Romania, the Bulgarian customs officers established that the driver did not present the obligatory original of the license for international transport.

In an attempt to move the bus on the road in a way that would prevent the movement of other vehicles, the Romanian driver crushed the fingers of the customs officer.

The police of the Bulgarian town of Petrich have formed an inquest on the case.

Representatives of the executive agency “Automobile Administration” from the Bulgarian city of Blagoevgrad have confirmed the lack of original license for international transport and have drawn a statement for violation.
