The court in the Bulgarian Danube town of Kozloduy decreed that the three persons accused of stealing the water jets of international adventurers last week be kept under arrest.

The three detainees, in their twenties, all have previous criminal record.

Last Friday the jet ski watercraft of three men on a charity trip from the UK to New Zealand were stolen in the Bulgarian Danube port of Kozlody.

The two New Zealanders and one Croat had set off on a 32 000 km route from London to Auckland, NZ, in order to set a world record for longest jet ski trip. They intended to use the record to raise funds for cancer research.

Sunday Bulgarian police discovered the jets hidden 1km downstream from where there were left, and detained three persons in suspicion of having stolen the machines.
