Sheridan Joins Bulgaria's CSKA Face off with Welsh Champs

Former Celtic striker Cillian Sheridan will take part in the clash of UEFA Europa League play-off hopefuls PFC CSKA Sofia against Welsh champions The New Saints FC on Thursday in their play-off round first leg.

Sheridan signed a three-year contract with the team five days ago.

The 21-year-old has spent most of the past two seasons on loan but was part of the Celtic squad for the recent tour of America. Celtic were open to cashing in on the player as he enters the final year of his contract and reports say CSKA Sofia forked out GBP 350,000 for the striker .

Recently CSKA enlisted Italian footballers Christian Tiboni and Marco Esposito.
