The entire traffic from the Bulgarian capital Sofia to Greece is now diverted through the western town of Radomir, the police in the city of Pernik inform Monday.

The detour is mandatory for both heavy trucks and cars. In the opposite direction, however, drivers can use the regular road.

The temporary changes became effective at 2 pm Saturday and will be reinforced in the next 3 months. They are imposed by the construction of the “Lyulin” highway.
