Berbatov Scores for United against Chelsea in Community Shield Match

Manchester United won the 88th FA Community Shield match with a goal of Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov.

United beat 3:1 Chelsea in the FA Community Shield, an annual football match contested by the winners of the previous season's Premier League and FA Cup competitions.

Berbatov was among the reserves, and joined United on the field at the beginning of the second half. He scored the third goal for Manchester in the extra time, as his team was in the lead 2:1 with Chelsea desperately trying to catch up.
