The British pop star Robbie Williams has married the actress Ayda Field.

People.com has reported that the 36-year-old Robbie and the 31-year-old Ayda, who met in 2006, exchanged vows Saturday in a 30-miniute ceremony at their Beverly Hills home.

About 75 friends and family members have been invited to the small wedding and the sunset cocktail reception after that.

“The ceremony was beautiful and romantic,” a source told People.com.

Williams’ father has also expressed his happiness with his son’s wedding.

“At last Rob is happy. That’s what you want for your kids and this is the happiest I’ve seen him. Ayda is so beautiful and so delightful and so lovely and just so right for him. They are brilliant together,” said Robbie’s father, Pete Conway, as reported by People.com.

One of the promises Robbie made to his wife was to quit smoking. Until recently, he has been smoking three packs a day, and now he has cut them down to 10 cigarettes a day.

The honeymooners will spend together only two weeks before Robbie leaves for the UK to officially present his new single.
