The Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov has announced that the police is gathering more evidence on the high-profile cases “Killers” and “All Trumps” and will submit them for assessment by Europol and FBI.

“We have a tough battle ahead of us and I hope that we will succeed. We have announced a war against criminality and we will fight until the end,” Borisov said as a comment to the Tuesday's ruling of the Court of Appeals to release all but one suspects from the two cases.

He added that even though the “All Trumps” tax drainers have been released, there were enough evidence for their guilt.

The Bulgarian PM has jokingly claimed as “positive” the decision of the court to keep behind bars one of the “Killers” suspects, even though the grounds for his keeping was the fact that an illegal AK-47 Kalashnikov gun has been found in his home, not because his alleged connection with the assassination of the controversial football boss Yuri Galev has been proven.

Borisov has also stated that the police will continue gathering evidence for both cases and will even ask for an international assessment.

“The fact that the suspects have been kept in jail after the first trial says that we have gathered enough evidences. But apparently they were not enough for the Court of Appeals. The documents for the two cases will be translated in English and sent to Europol and FBI. We want to know what they would do with these evidences,” Borisov said.
