The Sofia City Prosecutor's Office filed charges Monday against Zoya Dimitrova, former spokesperson of the notorious State Agency for National Security, for leaking out classified information.

Zoya Dimitrova went to become editor-in-chief of weekly newspaper Galeria, in the first issue of which last year an alleged secret report was published.

It is widely perceived that the Galeria paper is launched and serves the interest of former National Security (DANS) agent Aleksei Petrov, who was arrested February over allegations of leading organized crime group.

Former Bulgarian PM Sergey Stanishev, leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party, is also facing trial in connection with mishandling classified DANS reports.

Zoya Dimitrova went to found the Galeria weekly after a change-over in DANS leadership when the present GERB-party cabinet came to power in the summer of 2009.
