'Holy Trinity' of German Thrash Metal Comes Together in Bulgaria

The three top German thrash metal bands performed together in the second day of the Kavarna Rock Fest in Northeastern Bulgaria.

Sodom, Destruction and Kreator have come performed together for the first time staging a new top thrash metal gig in Bulgaria after the Sofia Rocks Festival in June. The performers of the three groups have described their concert together in Kavarna as historic.

The experience was especially meaningful for Sodom, who had one of their largest concerts ever in Bulgaria in 1991.

The northeastern Bulgarian Black Sea town of Kavarna has established itself as a top destination for rock and metal fans over the past few years.

The third day of the Kavarna Rock Fest, July 25, will feature the Canadian groups Voivod and Annihilator, and the German groups Primal Fear and Accept.
