A lightning stroke the Bulgarian Parliament's building during a thunder storm Wednesday.

According to Parliament's staff, the storm has caused the clocks inside the building to stop at 5:37 pm.

There are different explanations how the thunder managed to strike the roof, since the it roof is lightning protected. It is believed that the cause was a technical hitch.

Second day in a row, the short but powerful thunder and hailstorm on Wednesday afternoon caused torrential rains, panic and traffic jams in the Bulgarian capital.
