A group of young men, who wore dark, hooded sweatshirts, attacked and beat black and blue the passengers aboard a public transport tram in Sofia Sunday morning.
The accident occurred for no apparent reason shortly after 10.30 am close to the stop at Iskar station.
Three passengers suffered the most injuries.
Police has sealed off the area and the traffic there has been suspended.
No further details were immediately available.
