Bulgaria Sacks Energy Effectiveness Agency Head

The Director of Bulgaria’s Agency for Energy Effectiveness, Tasko Ermenkov, was dismissed from his post by the Energy and Economy Minister, Traicho Traikov.

The information was reported Saturday by the Economy Ministry’s press office citing as reason for the discharge “the need to improve the Agency’s work.”

Kolio Kolev, an employee of the Agency, will be temporarily in charge.

Juts one day ago, the Ministry released from her duties, the Deputy Economy and Energy Minister, in charge of the energy policy, Maya Hristova.

The Economy Ministry further announces another change – in the State company “LB Bulgaricum.” Hristo Yungarev, has been discharged as a member of the Board of Directors with a decision of the company’s General Assembly and replaced by Ventsislav Georgiev.

Also during the past week, Milen Keremedchiev , was released by the Transport Ministry as Head of Bulgarian Postal Services.
