Prince of Persia Becomes Disney's Most Successful Bulgarian Premiere

Disney’s Hollywood hit “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” has grossed BGN 356 000 during its Bulgarian premiere over the weekend.

Thus, Jerry Bruckheimer’s film has raised more money in Bulgaria than any other Disney production in its first weekend, announced Forum Film Bulgaria company.

The previous record holder, “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” raised BGN 315 000 during its premiere weekend in Bulgaria.

After its first three days, “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” has surpassed in terms of returns the other films from the Pirates of the Caribbean sequel, as well as the 3D “Alice in Wonderland”, and even the hit Bulgarian comedy “Mission London”.

A total of 40 000 people have seen the Prince of Persia in Bulgaria over the weekend in regular and IMAX movie theaters.
