British Crown Agents consultancy, whose contract with the Bulgarian government will be suspended after it expires at the end of June, will offer to the finance ministry a list of 350 recommendations, the company said on Thursday.

“The list will be a combination of important topics and recommendations, which illustrate our efforts to maintain sustainability of the achieved results,” commented the head of the consultancy team in Bulgaria John Brown.

According to the company's statement, circulated to the media, Bulgaria will continue to benefit from what the consultancy has brought here even after its contract with the government expires.

The British company has been consulting the country's government since 2001, when the centrist cabinet of former king Simeon Saxe-Coburg came into office. All the services provided have been directly financed by the Bulgarian government.

The program for an upgrade in the Bulgarian financial administration was launched in June 2007 following a six-month suspension after the end of the previous project, concerning the customs.

The consultancy experts assisted the agencies, which are in charge of revenues collection and frauds prevention, including the National Revenues Agency, the Customs Agency and others.
