Four Killed near Kosovo-Macedonia Border

Four people, suspected of smuggling weapons, were killed during police shoot-out near the Kosovo-Macedonia border.

Macedonian police is said to have tried to stop a van, on suspicion of arms smuggling, when the people inside the van opened fire.

The authorities returned fire and four of the people in the van were shot dead.

After searching the van, the police is reported to have found a large amount of weapons and explosives inside the vehicle.
