Bulgaria Represented in 12th Global Private Equity Conference

Bulgarian Finance Minister Simeon Djankov has headed to Washington, DC, for the 12th Annual Global Private Equity Confenrence, organized by IFC and EMPEA.

Djankov will be one of the special guests of the event of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, and the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association (EMPEA) taking place in the US capital on May 11-12, 2010.

The Bulgarian Finance Minister has been invited to present a macroeconomic review before the participants in the IFC/EMPEA forum, whose high-profile guests feature World Bank President, Robert Zoellick.

The aim of the forum is to analyze the influence of the financial crisis on equity investors, and to outline opportunities for investment development in the new economic environment; it will focus on emerging markets, and on Latin America in particular, the Bulgarian Finance Ministry announced.
