Manchester United Take Slavia Sofia Goalie on Loan

Slavia Sofia goalkeeper Rais Mbolhi Ouhab is set to have a trial with Manchester United, the Bulgarian club confirmed on Wednesday.

24-year-old Mbolhi, who is in Algeria's provisional squad for this summer's World Cup in South Africa, will miss the last 2 games of Slavia’s season over the trial.

"I've talked to Alex Ferguson and he's going on trial," club president Ventsislav Stefanov told BTA.

Mbolhi, was recently voted the Bulgarian league's best goalkeeper, after signing for Slavia in a 2-year deal in May 2009.

He began his career at Olympique Marseille, and previously had a short spell at Scottish club Hearts.
