The Bulgarian State Railways BDZ is going to introduce a new service providing combined train-bus or train-airplane tickets.

The news was broken by Transport Minister Alexander Tsvetkov on Friday. However, Tsvetkov has not announced when exactly the new service will kick in.

According to the minister, a total of 69 train stations and 174 train stops in Bulgaria are not connected with city public transport systems, a situation that he will seek to change.

Among the new services to be provided by the Bulgarian state-owned railway operator BDZ is the online sale of tickets, Tsvetkov announced.
