PM Urges Bulgarian Media to Snub Attempts to Found OTOMAN Party

The notorious Yuzeirov Brothers attempting to found an ‘OTOMAN’ party do not deserve media attention, according to Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.

“They don’t deserve to be in the spotlight of the media, they are insulting our nation, and our neighbors,” Borisov stated in the town of Sevlievo Sunday as cited by the BNR.

The Prime Minister commented on the unsuccessful attempts of the Yuzeirovi Brothers to found their new party named OTOMAN on Good Friday in Shumen, and then in Svishtov the following day.

“If you don’t mention their names, nobody will even know about them. The Yuzeirovi Brothers are relying on the media. You make them famous,” Borisov told journalists in Sevlievo.

He said he considered the idea of the two brothers to rename some of the Bulgarian cities with Turkish names was an April Fools’ Day joke.
