Ghanaian Levski FC player Michael Teviya was attacked and robbed only minutes after the end of their soccer match against CSKA.

The defense half-back was attacked by a group of thieves outside his home near the Georgi Asparuhov stadium on Saturday evening, according to police statements.

Teviya lost personal possessions, including his watch and mobile phone. The police would not confirm whether the player had been threatened and beaten at gunpoint.

In another post-match incident, a group of fans trashed four city buses and a trolley-bus in the center of Sofia. Police arrested the perpetrators.
