Montenegro's Minister of Culture, Prof Branislav Micunovic, heads a delegation that has arrived in the Bulgarian capital Sofia on a working visit.

The Montenegrin party has been invited by the Bulgarian Culture Minister, Vezhdi Rashidov. An agreement for bilateral cultural cooperation is to be signed between the two countries, covering the period between 2010 and the end of 2012.

The wide-ranging three-year program relates to visual arts, theatre, music, publishing, and protection of cultural assets. It will also include the prevention of illegal exports and transfer of works of art.

The program will operate through several cultural institutions in both countries, under the supervision of the Ministries themselves.
